  • Transitional Interim Pastor

    Pastor Gary Davey

    Pastor Gary and Kimberly met at Olivet Nazarene University and were married in August 1982. They have led churches in Indiana and Illinois through processes of Revisioning and Revitalization. They have served as worship leaders and song evangelists for local churches, district events, and camp meetings.  


    Gary graduated from ONU in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts in Church Music/Christian Education. He completed the Course of Ministerial Studies and was ordained in Philadelphia in 1989. He received a Master of Arts in Leadership Studies from Lincoln Christian Seminary in 2008.


    Gary enjoys hunting and fishing. Kim enjoys cooking and reading Christian fiction. They pamper their 8-year-old Blue Tick/Blue Healer "puppy-dog" named Hunter.

    Pastoral Care Ministries

    Pastor Janice Forgach

    Pastor Janice has served at Roswell First Church of the Nazarene as Pastor of Prayer and Pastoral Care since April 2015.  Roswell, New Mexico, has been a big adjustment for her, as her roots are from Chicago, but she has come to love the New Mexico people and desert.


    She has a grown daughter who owns  a small business in Chicago and a grand-daughter who also lives in Chicago, who is exploring life.  She has one sibling, a brother, who married a girl from England and they reside in New Castle, England.


    She has a passion for Jesus and people.  She is a prayer warrior.  She loves to cook and knit in her spare time. 

  • Youth Ministries

    Director Ryan Booker

    Ryan is married to his best friend, Leigh. They have 3 daughters, 1 son, and 1 grandson. Ryan and his family enjoy board, games, video games, and anything superhero or sci-fi.


    A Kentucky native, Ryan spent 10 years in Tennessee before coming to us. He looks forward to putting down roots here in Roswell.


    Ryan is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University with a BA in Christian Ministry as well as a BA in Management and Leadership. He is currently in the process of obtaining a MA in Biblical Studies and Theology from Trevecca.

  • Children's Ministries

    Pastor G.E. Hicks

    Pastor G.E. Hicks has been married to his wife Becky for over 21 years.  They came to Roswell First Church of the Nazarene in 2005 .


    They have two children.  Sunny (their son) and his wife Sara in Roswell, NM and Windy (their daughter).


    He is an accomplished auto mechanic and reliable volunteer patrol officer. He also serves as a package handler for UPS. 


    Pastor G.E. has a great heart for children and oversees the various ministries available to them.

  • Noah's Ark Director

    Pastor Susan Torres

    Pastor Susan has been serving as a director for Noah's Ark Christian Preschool since 2011.  She has a passion for ministry to children and women, so this is her dream job.  It is not a job when you love what you do.


    She has been married to Hector for 17 years.  She shares Hector's 4 children and 5 grandchildren.


    Together they also pastor Neighborhood Church of the Nazarene since 2010.

  • Administrative Assistant

    Jomarie Torres

    Jomarie was born and raised in the Philippines as the youngest of twelve siblings. She holds a two-year associate degree in Hotel and Restaurant Services (2015) from STI College Las Piñas City, Philippines.


    After graduation, she traveled across Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong before moving to the United Arab Emirates, where she began her hospitality career at a luxury hotel in Dubai as a Telephone Operator and later advanced to Front Office Agent and Front Office Leader. She worked in Dubai for four years.


    During the pandemic, Jomarie met her husband and later moved to the United States in early 2023. They have now been happily married for four years and are blessed with one son.


    She loves cooking, baking, and spending quality time with her little family.
