Rev. Nathan A. Bienhoff and his wife Rebekah came to serve the Roswell First Church of the Nazarene in January of 2020. They have served the Church of the Nazarene in Missouri, Arkansas, California, Texas, and now in Roswell, New Mexico. They have two grown children, Drew and Hannah. Drew lives in Roswell. Hannah, her husband Scott, and their two children also live in Roswell.
Nate and Rebekah have served the Church of the Nazarene filling various roles. He has served as a Youth Pastor and Lead Pastor over 25 years. His pastoral assignments have included churches in North Little Rock, Arkansas, Vallejo, CA, Hemet, California, Benton, Arkansas, Longview, Texas, Lake Jackson, Texas, and now Roswell, New Mexico.
While pursuing his call to the ministry, he attended Simpson University in Redding, CA, Butte Community College, and Pacific Rim School of Theology in South San Francisco, CA. He was ordained in 2005 on the South Arkansas District Church of the Nazarene
Nate and his wife, Rebekah, have been married for over 25 years. Rebekah takes an active roll in ministry with him. She has served as Youth Director, Music Director and Children’s Director.
Pastor Janice has served at Roswell First Church of the Nazarene as Pastor of Prayer and Pastoral Care since April 2015. Roswell, New Mexico, has been a big adjustment for her, as her roots are from Chicago, but she has come to love the New Mexico people and desert.
She has a grown daughter who owns a small business in Chicago and a grand-daughter who also lives in Chicago, who is exploring life. She has one sibling, a brother, who married a girl from England and they reside in New Castle, England.
She has a passion for Jesus and people. She is a prayer warrior. She loves to cook and knit in her spare time.
Pastor G.E. Hicks has been married to his wife Becky for over 21 years. They came to Roswell First Church of the Nazarene in 2005 He has served as Children's Ministry Pastor for over 6 years.
They have two children. Sunny (their son) and his wife Sara in Roswell, NM and Windy (their daughter) who lives with them.
Pastor G.E. oversees the various ministry available to Children.
Rebekah came to Roswell First Church of the Nazarene with her husband, Pastor Nate, in January of 2020. She has served alongside of him as a partner in ministry throughout the years.
She has a passion for worship and currently leads this ministry.
Pastor Susan has been serving as a director for Noah's Ark Christian Preschool since 2011. She has a passion for ministry to children and women, so this is her dream job. It is not a job when you love what you do.
She has been married to Hector for 17 years. She shares Hector's 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
Together they also pastor Neighborhood Church of the Nazarene since 2010.
Sonya is a mom to two daughters and was married to Randy for 14 years, he passed away in 2018. She earned her Associate and Bachelor Degrees in 2010. She has a passion for helping young widows and has built a network of young people who have experienced widowhood at a young age.
Pastor Thomas and his wife Kym will have been married for over 10 years. They joined the Roswell First Church of the Nazarene in Roswell, NM October 23rd, 2022. Previously, Pastor Thomas served the Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene in Lake Jackson, Texas. He graduated from Brazosport High School and attended Global University in Springfield, MO where he specialized in Youth Ministry.
In 2020 Pastor Thomas completed his pastoral studies at Nazarene Bible College and was ordained as an Elder in the Nazarene Church in April of 2022. He has served as a minister of the gospel in many areas for over 35 years. He was a Youth Pastor for 22 years, a Missions Director, Associate Pastor, and Senior Pastor. Before coming to Roswell First Church of the Nazarene, Pastor Thomas served as the Discipleship and Outreach Pastor for Cornerstone COTN as well as the Ministry Leader for Celebrate Recovery. For 13 years, Pastor Thomas has also served Brazoria County, Texas, as a Hospice Chaplain.
Kym was born and raised in a small town in New York and lived in Texas for 31 years. Kym retired after 36 years of teaching, with 32 years in Special Education at the Middle and Jr High school level. Kym has served alongside of Pastor Thomas as a social media coordinator and has organized a yearly woman’s conference, If:Gathering, and marriage conference. She has also served as a Training Leader for Celebrate Recovery and as part of the sound and technology team.
Thomas and Kym have 3 children Michaela, her husband Alex and daughter Shelby, Brittany and her husband, Cordale and DJ.
